I am curious how technical interviews have been this cycle.
Are firms mostly sticking to standard valuation and accounting questions or are they pushing candidates much harder now with follow ups and edge cases?
Would appreciate hearing recent experiences.

From what I've seen, interviews are definitely becoming more conversational, but also more technical if you claim strong knowledge on your resume. Interviewers seem less interested in memorized answers and more interested in how you think through a problem.
Which roles are you interviewing for? The level of technical depth can vary quite a bit.
