What to Expect

ARC stands for Assess, Refine, Convert. It reflects my approach to case prep, developed over years on the other side of the table, first as an interviewer and career advisor, then as a Partner with the final call on hiring decisions. Assess where you stand, refine what's holding you back, convert it into full readiness for the interview day.

The program is 4 sessions with no time limit. We start with a scored diagnostic, move through two additional cases that get progressively harder and more varied, and finish with a full mock run under real conditions. Fit and Q&A are worked in alongside the cases throughout, and we run targeted skill drills on the specific areas your diagnostic flags (e.g. structuring, math, chart reading, or brainstorming).

This pack is designed specifically for candidates who already have the theoretical foundations and want to sharpen their skills and delivery, closing the gap between knowing the concepts and performing under real interview conditions. The structure below reflects what I've seen work best, but it's a starting point, not a fixed script: we adapt it to what your diagnostic shows and what you need, more room for fit if your cases are already strong, a deeper focus on a specific weakness, or whatever gets you ready fastest.

The Four Sessions

A full case run under real interview conditions, scored the way an actual interviewer would score you, across structure, math, business judgment, and communication. The goal here is not to teach yet, but to see clearly where you stand and how you perform under real pressure. Afterwards we go through it together in detail: what is separating you from a strong performance, which habits are helping you, and which are quietly costing you marks. You get an honest read on your current level against the bar. And you leave with a clear, prioritised plan for the sessions ahead, built around your specific gaps.

A second case, chosen deliberately to work on the weaknesses the diagnostic exposed. Rather than a generic case, this one is picked to put you back into the exact situations you found difficult, so you get practice where it matters most. Alongside the case we run targeted skill drills and some fit and Q&A, so every part of your interview keeps improving, not just the casing. I can give you feedback in real time as you go, or hold it to the end and debrief fully afterwards, whichever works better for how you learn. We track your progress against the diagnostic, so we can both see what is genuinely improving and what still needs work.

A different type of case from the first two, in a format or industry you have not faced yet, so your range widens and no case type can surprise you on the day. The point is to stop you relying on a single comfortable pattern and to make you adaptable to whatever comes up. Again we layer in fit, Q&A, and any drills your earlier sessions showed you still need. Same live feedback, same tracking against your earlier sessions, so your progress stays visible. You leave more flexible and much harder to surprise.

A complete interview from start to finish, run exactly as the real one will: opening, fit, case, and your questions at the close, at full pace and with no breaks. This is your full practice run, the moment everything comes together under real conditions. I give you feedback on the whole performance, not only whether the case was right, but how you came across, how you managed pressure, and the small things that influence a decision either way. We finish with a clear read on your readiness and the last small improvements to make before the day.

My Promise to You

1. Fully tailored approach.

No generic frameworks, no standard material, nothing recycled from a template. Everything we do is built around your profile, your target firms, and the specific things holding you back. The whole point of working one-on-one with someone who has sat on the other side of the table is that you get a plan made for you, not a course everyone else is also taking.

2. Detailed feedback.

After each session you get a written scorecard, scored against the same dimensions your interviewers actually grade on, so you always know exactly where you stand. It spells out what improved, what still needs work, and the specific things to fix before the next session. No vague encouragement, just a clear, honest picture and a concrete list of what to work on.

3. No time limit.

Sessions run until your questions are answered and the ground is properly covered, not until a clock runs out. If something needs more time, we take it. You are never rushed through the part you most needed help with just because the hour is up, which means you get real value from every single session.

4. Support that does not stop.

You get my personal number and can reach me between sessions, at no extra cost, for a quick question, a doubt, or a last check before an interview. And the support does not end when the sessions do: I am there through your interviews and into your final offer decisions, because getting you ready is the whole point, not just running the sessions.

About Federico

Coach
Ex-BCG Partner | Interviewer and Career Advisor | Fully tailored approach

Before becoming a coach, I was a Partner at BCG, where I spent 12+ years, during which I personally conducted 200+ case and fit interviews for candidates at all levels, from new joiners to experienced hires. I was also an advisor for associates and consultants, helping them turn around performance, secure their next promotion, or gain admission to their target MBA programs.

Before joining BCG, I worked for two years at Oliver Wyman in France. I have also served as an MBA interviewer at London Business School.

My coaching follows ARC, my own approach to interview prep: Assess where you stand, Refine what's holding you back, Convert it into full readiness for the interview day. Every candidate is different, so I build each coaching journey around the person, no generic frameworks or standard material, just the work that gets you interview-ready.
