Hi,

What would you think of Robert Mellon's The Case Interview Workbook? There are 60 cases with solutions there.

What I like is that the narrative for each case is included, compared to MBA case books that usually only have the prompts and points.

I'm not so sure about the quality of 60 cases there, though.

Hi there,

Like all case prep books, this is good to get you started. It'll get you from 0 to 50. As in, you can become solidly intermediate with a book like this (and live casing). However, you won't get from 50 to 100 by reading any of the casebooks.

Also, I'm not sure exactly what you mean about the "narrative". Plenty of MBA casebooks actually do have a full narrative (suggested questions/answers, frameworks, answers, etc.). You just have to find the right ones!

+1 for Ian. Case books are good for getting the basics. But you'll need to build the practical skills by practicing cases with partners. And for that the quality of the case is less relevant than you think.

So the recommendation is: Take whatever case book works for you and practice with as many candidates and experienced interviewers as you can find.
