I have an interview for Redstone Strategy, who tests cases on social impact/social sector, very different from usual profitability/business case questions. How can I prepare?

Hi,

The major difference is the structure - you should adapt them to social context. For example in profitability structure:

  • Your revenues in social cases may come from direct contributions. You should be aware of different methods of collecting them (Mentor council, merchandising, etc)
  • Your costs will be similar to business costs
  • Your profits should not necessarily be zero. You should think of the potential growth and investments needed for this growth.

Feel free to reach me to practice these cases. I give a homework of 7-10 cases and then we go through all of them in one session
