McKinsey Imbellus Game

Hi!

For the Ecosystem Game, I understand that there are many species to choose from.

May I know from your experience, Do they Group the Species into Producers (Plants) and the Animal Species?

Or

Are both Producers (Plants) and the Animal Species are all mixed together, and we have to find and sort them out ourselves?

For the Plant Defense Game,

If the Attacker is coming from a distance, Is it advisable to place the defenses near to the attacker, in hopes to eliminate it faster?

Or

Focus on placing the defenses closest to the plant, but with the range that covers the future moves of that Attacker coming from a distance?

To Last Long, shouldn't we try to kill the Attackers as fast as possible, and as far as possible to prevent them from even coming close to our plant?

Your experience and responses would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there,

1) May I know from your experience, Do they Group the Species into Producers (Plants) and the Animal Species? Or Are both Producers (Plants) and the Animal Species are all mixed together, and we have to find and sort them out ourselves?

Species are divided in Producers and Animals

2) If the Attacker is coming from a distance, Is it advisable to place the defenses near to the attacker, in hopes to eliminate it faster? Or Focus on placing the defenses closest to the plant, but with the range that covers the future moves of that Attacker coming from a distance?

Placing the defenses close to the plant is better, although you should ensure you are killing the invaders.

Hi there,

This is indeed an interesting question which is probably relevant for quite a lot of users, so I am happy to provide my perspective on it:

  • Regarding the ecosystem game: To my own experience, the ones from my coachees and my personal network, yes, “Producers” and “Animals” normally are grouped.
  • Regarding the plant defense game: I would highly advise you to construct your defense in rings, from closest to the plant to furthest to the plant. This way, it will be quite easy to survive the 15 rounds required.

In case you want a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare the McKinsey Imbellus game without expensive and often times outdated guides, please feel free to contact me directly.

I hope this helps,

Hagen

Hi there,

The species are indeed seperated out, and for plant defense you want to group your defenses together in the center (so that you can take advantage of overlaping range of fire, buffs/perks, etc.)

Check out Gugan frontier to practice ecosystem building and really check out any tower defense game online to get a feel for how to optimally last multiple waves.

Good luck!
