KPMG France Final Partner Interview

Hey,

I did my partner interview yesterday for the position of Junior Consultant at the Paris office. Although it went quite well, it lasted only 25 minutes in total instead of an hour as scheduled. Does that say anything about my interview? I'm not sure as I haven't yet given many Partner interviews.

Secondly, how long should I wait to send a follow-up email before getting feedback?

Thanks in advance!

No, it just means the partner was busy and was managing his agenda. This happens frequently at Big4 as they usually don't give out a case interview, so 30 mins is more than enough to assess the candidate.

You can send the thank you email right away… or a follow up after at least 1 week.

Thanks for your answer. I got negative feedback from the recruiter saying that I couldn't make an "impact" in the Partner interview. And, as I said in my question, I only got approximately 25 minutes for the interview. The recruiter found it odd as well. Do you think there's a way to rectify the issue in this case or do you have any advice for future interviews?

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

All it means is he/she either made their decision quickly or had a crazy day ahead of them.

Ultimately, there's nothing to read into here (from either a negative or positive perspective).

You should wait a couple of weeks before following up.
