Is MCConsultingPrep BCG Casey Chatbot course a good prep material?

Hi there,
Q: Is MConsultingPrep BCG Casey Chatbot course a good prep material?
I haven’t tried it myself, but usually they have good prep material. I think they just have the chatbot part at this stage (no one-way video interview).
I reported some info below on the test.

The BCG Online Case (also called Casey Chatbot Interview) is an 8-10 questions test BCG now used globally. It is structured in 2 parts:
- 8-10 questions to be taken in 25-30 minutes
- 1 video interview question at the end, where you usually have to provide a recommendation in 1 minute

If you want to prepare for the Online Case in the best possible way, I created a software simulation replicating specifically the chatbot and one-way video interview.
It includes the following and more:
- 4 Casey Software Simulations of the Chatbot. These are live chatbots simulating exactly the same chatbot environment of the test (meaning you will receive questions from an actual chatbot with a flow equivalent to the one of the test).
- 4 One-Way Video Interviews. These come with Artificial Intelligence reports, so that you can see how the software will perceive your performance in terms of voice, speech clarity, energy and more.
- 2 PDF Simulations of the Chabot. These are additional tests Casey-style, meaning you will have 6 different Casey Chatbots to train with overall.
- Free access to 6 PSTs and Potential Tests for further practice.
- Deep explanation of all the 5 types of questions asked in the BCG Online Case thanks to the complimentary 144-page guide.
You can get access to the software simulation and guide instantly here:

For any questions on the test please feel free to PM me, I will reply within 12 hours.

Hi there,
I think this is an interesting question that may be relevant for many people. I would be happy to share my thoughts on it:
- Based on the experience of coachees of mine, it seems to be a good simulation of the actual BCG Casey pre-interview assessment.
- However, please keep in mind that the BCG Casey is essentially nothing more than a case study from a case book that you would do on your own. As such, I would highly advise you to focus your preparation on practicing case studies with peers, since this is still the best way to prepare for it.
- Lastly, please feel free to contact me directly for realistic preparation materials for the BCG Casey.
If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming BCG interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Best,
Hagen

Hello,
I haven't used this myself, so I would defer to other coaches here.
However, in my experience, the best way to prepare for Casey is as follows:
1) Do your usual case prep. Once you have done about 15-20 cases, you will start getting comfortable handling new business problems quickly.
2) Practice a ton of math/charts/graphs/data analysis problems from rocket blocks. Make sure you time yourself too. This will keep you sharp and allow you to thrive under the time pressure of Casey.
3) If the above is not enough, then feel free to practice some probability, arithmetic, graphs questions from GMAT materials too.
Hope this helps!

Yes! They are fantastic for both the BCG Chatbot and the McK Imbellus. Highly highly recommend them as a resource!

They have the most accurate simulation (they seem to have a knack for this since their package for the Imbellus is also very accurate). Their guide is quite decent, enough to get you familiar with the question types and clear up some of the myth surrounding the Casey test (for example most people talks about how “math-heavy” the test is, when in reality the math is quite simple).
It's important that you look into case interview materials as well; free resources are enough to get you through Casey.
You can supplement your practice with other Casey resources, because the Casey test is up there with the PST in terms of difficulty, so if you can spare the money, more is safer and safer is better.
P/S: I reckon this might be obvious, but each person may perceive the test differently so it's important to find additional materials or support for the parts you're weak at. The Casey test itself is well-rounded, and much less prep-able than the Imbellus test, because it is difficult in nearly every way.
