BCG Real Life - Examples for client / partner emails

Hi everyone,

I am currently preparing for the BCG Real Life interviews. I know that you will possibly be asked to write an email to a client or a (senior) partner of the firm.

I was wondering whether you have some ideas for topics that these emails might have (really no need for real BCG examples, just trying to understand the scope of the task better). For example, I could think of:

Partner: Executive summary
Client: Convince them of something
Partner/Client: Postpone something

Do you have more ideas based on your experience with preparing candidates for the second round?

Those are good ideas! Here are some others:

Scheduling a workshop
Client issue response
Client issue escalation
Project issue flagging
Decision to be made - need to ask for decision
Project update

Hi there,

it can be anything:

- refusing a request for more work from client as it is not part of the scope

- Gauge client interest

- Organize a meeting with the client after the pitch
