While lots of cases contain one question on market sizing, I'm wondering did anyone get market sizing case on its own with McKinsey? If so, could you share which round (EM/consultant round or partner round)? Much appreciated.

It was partner round for me - specifically to test analytical capabilities as partners often don't give long structured cases like in the earlier rounds
Sure, the market sizing is maybe the most common typology of cases and I got them during my interviews in McKinsey (even at partner round).

Yes, partners can give you standalone market sizing cases. But you should be prepared on every round

Yes, agree, this is normally with partners in round 2 -where you can expext pretty much anything-.
Normally, in round 1, you will find market sizing exercises embebbed in the case.

Yes. In short, be prepared for anything! I.e. just market sizing, just case, short case with no materials, etc.
