I recently left McKinsey after progressing from BA to Associate and ultimately Engagement Manager. During my time at the firm, I led teams and advised senior executives on strategy, AI transformation, operating model redesign, M&A integration, private equity diligence, and large-scale operational improvement programs across multiple industries.
Alongside my consulting work, I spent years mentoring analysts and associates, supporting recruiting efforts, and helping candidates prepare for some of the most demanding interviews in business.
Prior to McKinsey, I worked at Compass Lexecon, one of the world's leading economic consulting firms, where I advised on mergers, international arbitrations, valuations, and complex commercial disputes. I also taught Financial Economics at Columbia University and Microeconomics at the London School of Economics.
Today, I work with candidates pursuing consulting, strategy, and other highly selective business roles.
Who I work with
Students and recent graduates
If you're targeting consulting, strategy, or other competitive business careers, I can help you understand the recruiting process, strengthen your application materials, and build the core problem-solving and communication skills interviewers look for.
MBA, Master's and PhD candidates
Many strong candidates underestimate how different consulting interviews are from academic success. I'll help you translate your background into a compelling candidate story and perform effectively in both case and fit interviews.
Experienced professionals
Whether you're transitioning from industry, finance, technology, engineering, or another field, I can help you position your experience, anticipate interviewer concerns, and demonstrate consulting-level thinking.
Candidates with interviews approaching
If you already have interviews scheduled, we'll focus on the highest-impact improvements: structuring, synthesis, communication, hypothesis-driven thinking, and executive-level presence.
My coaching philosophy
Most candidates spend too much time memorizing frameworks.
The strongest candidates do something different: they learn how to think clearly under uncertainty, communicate in a structured way, and build trust with the interviewer.
That is how consultants operate on the job, and that is how successful candidates perform in interviews.
My coaching focuses on:
• Structured problem solving
• Hypothesis-driven thinking
• Top-down communication
• Executive presence and confidence
• Practical case-solving skills
• Behavioral and fit interview performance
• Clear and compelling personal narratives
Every session is tailored to the candidate's specific goals, strengths, and development areas. My objective is not to teach a script; it is to help you become the kind of candidate interviewers want to hire.
Areas where I can help
• Consulting case interviews (McKinsey, Bain, BCG and other firms)
• Behavioral and fit interviews
• McKinsey Personal Experience Interviews (PEI)
• Resume reviews and application strategy
• MBA and experienced-hire recruiting
• Career transitions into consulting and strategy roles
What you can expect
My style is direct, practical, and supportive.
You'll receive honest feedback, specific recommendations, and a clear understanding of where you stand and how to improve. We will focus on the skills that actually move the needle in interviews rather than generic advice or rehearsed frameworks.
If you're serious about pursuing consulting or strategy roles and want coaching from someone who has recently operated in that environment, I'd be happy to work with you.
