Interview Coaching
Rating: 4.5/5
Overall:
Sabrina might be relatively new on PrepLounge, but she is definitely not new to the casing game. You can feel that very quickly during the session. Highly recommended, if you are early in your casing journey, you can bring out more value from her.
For candidates targeting MBB or particularly Nordic offices, I would absolutely recommend a session with her.
What stood out
1. She genuinely has skin in the game
One thing I appreciated was that Sabrina was willing to go beyond the planned session if she felt there were a few more things that could help me. It never felt transactional. She genuinely wanted to make sure I walked away with actionable improvements rather than simply finishing the case on time.
2. Extremely responsive and approachable
Sabrina is very active and interactive. Whether on PrepLounge or LinkedIn, she is always happy to answer questions, clarify doubts, or point you in the right direction. The communication before and after the session was excellent.
3. Strong ability to identify what actually moves the needle
Rather than focusing on generic casing advice, she quickly identified the specific areas that were holding me back and concentrated on those. In my case, this was around answer-focused communication, prioritisation, and turning observations into business implications.
4. Great choice of cases
The case selection was thoughtful and relevant. The style was very similar to the types of interviewer-led cases I later encountered, especially for Nordic offices. The session felt realistic and helped me prepare for actual interviews rather than just practising frameworks.
Constructive feedback
1. I wish I had taken the session earlier in my preparation
This is not really a criticism of Sabrina, but more advice for future candidates. She can absolutely help you polish and improve in the final stages, but I think you unlock even more value if you work with her earlier and give yourself time to apply the feedback over multiple weeks.
2. Some candidates may benefit from a more intervention-based coaching style
My session was intentionally run as a realistic interview simulation because I only had a few days left before my interviews. That was exactly what I needed. However, candidates who are earlier in their preparation may also benefit from occasional "pause-and-coach" moments (I believe the Victory cheng style) where the interviewer steps out of role after each casing segment to provide immediate feedback before moving on. I suspect Sabrina can do this as well if requested, but it may be worth discussing your preferred coaching style beforehand.
General tip
If you've never worked with Sabrina before, I strongly recommend reaching out before the session. Get a quick vibe check (which she passes gracefully haha) and clearly explain your needs. She is very flexible and happy to adapt the session to your specific needs rather than running a one-size-fits-all coaching session.
All the best guys, you'll probably thank me later for recommending her.
P.S.: I can only comment on the casing session since that's what I worked on with Sabrina.
