I'm a former McKinsey Engagement Manager and interviewer, and founder of Calvanese Advisory. I spent 4.5 years at McKinsey in the strategy practice across the Denver and Milan offices, conducting 100+ candidate interviews from the interviewer side of the table.
Two threads run through my life outside consulting. The first is climbing — I'm a sport climber, and choosing Denver and Milan as my offices was deliberate: both put serious mountains an hour from the desk. The second is work in international development, which has taken me to live and work across six continents. Both shape how I coach. Climbing trains you to break hard problems into deliberate moves; working across very different contexts teaches you when frameworks travel and when they don't.
