PrepLounge, Victor Cheng, Case & Point - Which prep tools are the most effective?
I asked myself the very same question after completing my M.Sc. degree and wanting to go into consulting. I know from experience how fragmented the case prep environment on the internet can seem and I will help you in navigating it. I do own an extensive preparation database and can confidently explain every tool in terms of value for your interview process. Especially with regard to MBB interviews, a lot of the materials out there are "timewasters" for these specific cases.
I'm a former McKinsey consultant, now pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Germany. Back in the day I prepared extensively and scored all MBB offers with the help of case training, good interview scheduling, an appropriate mindset and the correct behaviour during the interviews.

One of the most important pieces I found, that worked in my advantage was an appropriate structure of the whole application phase (When do I schedule which consulting group? Do I apply at Big4 just for training purposes? What about Tier2?). A strategically planned approach during your whole application process is key to find the resources to communicate in a confident (but not arrogant) way during your interviews and score your offer. Especially in the partner interview later on.
