Applying in Europe. I know it depends on the office, but what is usually used? I assume it's Pymetrics + SOVA, while the HireVue is relatively experimental and seldom used.
What pre-interview tests to expect for Bain?

Hi there,
Q: I know it depends on the office, but what is usually used? I assume it's Pymetrics + SOVA
From the feedback of my candidates, in most offices in Europe they use Pymetrics and/or SOVA. An exception is Amsterdam where they use TestGorilla.
Good luck!
Francesco

Hi there,
That's essentially right.
You have to remember that each office/region does things slightly differently. So “expecting” is always dangerous. That said, all of the tests are very very similar (math/reading comprehension oftentimes with case/business themes).
They will tell you which test and give you several days to prepare. Prior to that time, I recommend you go through as many practice tests/questions as possible to just train your thinking.

Hi there,
It differs based on the office and it keeps on changing.
If I were you, I would check directly with the office that you're in the recruitment process with.
Most often, you can expect Sova.
Best,
Cristian

Pymetrics and SOVA are used most often, but check this with the recruiter at the office you are applying to!
