Hi there,

Revolut’s problem-solving case differs a bit from traditional consulting formats. It’s highly product- and data-driven and more on structured thinking under ambiguity.

Typical cases focus on things such as scaling features, diagnosing product or operational issues, and interpreting user metrics or A/B test results. Think: “Card declines are up 15% - what could be the reasons for this?” or “How would you grow Revolut’s crypto product in Europe?”

They’re testing your ability to:

  • Break down ambiguous problems
  • Prioritize effectively
  • Interpret product and business KPIs (e.g., conversion, churn, LTV)
  • Communicate concisely

It’s essentially a hybrid between a consulting case and a product manager interview. Prep-wise, you’ll want to get comfortable with funnel analysis, feature trade-offs, and fintech KPIs, and approach each problem with a mix of business and product sense.

Feel free to reach out. I have built a case like that I use with some of my clients.

Cheers,

Florian
