Hello everyone,
I would be having a round one interview with a BCG Principal.
May I know if having a round interview with a Principal vs. a project leader/consultant would the way we are graded differ?
Thanks.

Hi there,
There is literally no difference here! You are graded across the same criteria in the same way.
in case you're curious what this looks like, I've created the following “sentence of an optimal candidate”:
"Someone who can approach a complicated problem and think + communicate in a structured way in the right context+objective of the case, while being personable, adaptable, and coachable, so that, ultimately, the interviewer can see themselves working with this individual and putting them in front of a client."
Hi there,
As mentioned by the other coaches there is no difference in how you are graded.
Experienced interviewers may however have more unstructured cases. Sometimes principals/partners just give you a short prompt related to the last engagements they had or estimation questions. When I was interviewed at BCG by a Principal, I got two estimation questions and one brain teaser, without any “proper” case.
Best,
Francesco
Hello,
There is no difference in the way you will be evaluated whatsoever. Who is interviewing you is usually determined by the consultants' relative schedules, so there's absolutely no need to read into their tenure. Your preparation should not change.
No difference there, the interview structure and the grading will be the same. You just get a more experienced interviewer.
Hi,
There would be no difference in how you are graded. The evaluation form is standardized.
All the best!
