Revolut Problem Solving interview

Hello Community,

I am currently undergoing the recruitment process for the operating principal position at Revolut. Is there anyone here that went through this or similar processes and can shed some light on these Revolut's problem solving interviews? I guess they will be quite similar to the consulting case interviews but if there is someone who has deeper insights, I would be really grateful.

Thanks

Hey there :)

yes, you're right that Revolut’s problem solving interviews are quite similar to consulting-style cases, but with a more operational and execution-heavy twist. They usually focus less on pure strategy and more on how you’d actually drive outcomes in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Expect topics like scaling operations, process automation, efficiency improvements, and product launches, often with real numbers and tight constraints. They love structured thinkers, so be clear and data-driven, but also show you can roll up your sleeves and get things done.

Let me know if you'd like to run through a mock or brainstorm examples!

best, Alessa :)

Hi there,

First of all, congratulations on the invitation from Revolut!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, since I don't know the application process in detail either, I would strongly advise you to contact the recruiter as soon as possible to ask about it, as only they know for certain.
  • Moreover, you are most likely right to expect something similar to consulting case interviews, but the focus may be more on execution than high-level strategy.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hi there!

I have helped 3 people that did the PS Revolut interview and have a good idea of what types of questions you may face.

In general, they use case interviews similar to consulting (as there are many consultants there), such as processes improvements and profitability.

Happy to help you prepare for the interview, DM if you would like to know more about my approach.

Best,

Mari

Hi there,

Yes, they are quite similar to consulting case interviews — very structured, analytical, and focused on problem solving and business judgment. I can definitely help, as I have a very close friend who went through the process successfully and can definitely give us insights.

Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat or prep together!

Best,

Evelina
