I’m an APD Candidate for Mckinsey. I applied last year as an associate. I got invited for R1 but was not adequate enough, i received feedback from my interviewer but no rejection email was provided.
Over the last 10 months I improved my profile by joining a pro-bono consulting org and managed to get a referral from a current Mckinsey Associate.
The APD Associate deadline for this cycle was earlier and within a year window (approx 10-11 months), i reached out to the recruiter before but did not receive a response so i applied before the deadline (i didn’t receive Solve invitation, im guessing because 12 months haven’t elapsed).
1) Is there a chance of receiving a Round 1 invite for this cycle?
2) Does selecting the same office as my first choice again all but terminate me from consideration?
