Hi,
I was just curious if anyone knows how many undergrad BAs/Associates MBB offices tend to hire each year? In particular, for a larger office like NYC/Boston/Chicago, how many new hires are there per year?
Thanks!

Hey there,
I guess no one can give you an exact answer.
However, there is a simple way to approximate it:

One - you shouldn't be worried about the size of the intake - you should worry more about making the cut and ensuring you do your interview well.
Two - intake varies not just by the office size, but also on the attrition and growth. Last year was lower growth, this year is making up for it. A mature office has lower growth - while something like Middle-east has a much higher growth.
Hi there,
This is a pretty broad question and honestly completely depends on the office and the year. For example, this year is a bumper year whereas last year was extremely thin (neither is a good representation of “normal”).
I'd highly recommend you network to understand numbers better, however, in the larger offices you're generally looking at low-to-mid double digits.
Hi,
It varies a lot on the year and applicant cohort (offices generally have some flexibility), and it's also made more complicated by the fact that there are multiple start dates that new hires can join on during the year. I don't think there's readily available data on this, unfortunately, though you could try asking a recruiter.
