How to Break Into MBB 101: Mastering the Interview (Ex-McKinsey EM with 5+ years of consulting interviewing experience)

Yes, firms like ATK, OW, ADL, and LEK all offer some form of MBA sponsorship, though the details can vary quite a bit.

For instance, I’m pretty sure ATK does offer MBA sponsorship, but the specifics like whether they cover tuition, provide a stipend, or assist with housing might differ. From my own experience at an MBB firm, all undergrad hires are eligible for sponsorship, but it’s important to perform well and get accepted into a business school to make it happen.

If this is an important part of the value prop when considering offers, it’s a good idea to reach out to each firm directly to get the lowdown on their sponsorship packages and any requirements they might have once you secure offers (if that's the stage you're at). Feel free to DM me and we can chat more!

Hi there,

Yes. Two thoughts here:

  1. Depends largely on geography. Not every office of every firm offers support here.
  2. The programs are much less standardized and institutionalized than in MBB.

Cheers,

Hi,

Yes - T2 also sponsors MBA. At Kearney (where I started at), they did sponsor people to top MBA programs.

Often sponsorship is similar to MBB in terms of the requirements and conditions - e.g. there is a minimum bond period, it is a competitive process to receive etc
