LINK to L.E.K. Digital Assessment

Hi everyone,

I’m applying to LINK to LEK. The assessment description only states that it helps them gain a more comprehensive understanding of each candidate’s skills, strengths, and potential.

Could anyone share:

  • What format this assessment takes (numerical reasoning, case-style, game-based, situational judgement)?
  • How long it typically lasts?
  • Whether it resembles GMAT, SHL, or a mini case?
  • How best to prepare for it?

Thank you!

Here is what I see in practice with L.E.K. Consulting digital assessments.

It is usually a mix of numerical reasoning and business judgment style questions. Think data heavy multiple choice, short case style prompts, sometimes situational judgment. It is closer to SHL style reasoning plus mini case interpretation than to a full live consulting case.

Timing is tight. Typically 45 to 60 minutes total. The pressure comes from speed and accuracy, not deep strategy. You are interpreting charts, doing percentage math, comparing options, and making practical business calls.

Best preparation is simple. Practice SHL style numerical reasoning tests, free GMAT problem solving for speed, and timed data interpretation drills using real company investor slides. Focus on accuracy under time, not fancy frameworks.

The biggest mistake candidates make is over preparing with full case interviews. This stage is more about clean math and fast data reading. If your percentage changes, breakeven math, and chart interpretation are sharp, you are fine.

hey!

The LINK to LEK assessment at L.E.K. Consulting is typically a mix of numerical reasoning and case style business judgment questions rather than a pure GMAT or long written case, often delivered in an SHL type online format and lasting around 45 to 60 minutes. You can expect data interpretation, short business scenarios, and structured problem solving under time pressure, so the best preparation is practicing numerical speed and accuracy, reviewing charts and exhibits quickly, and doing a few timed SHL or consulting style online tests to get comfortable with pacing.

Hi there!

I recommend you reach out to the recruiter and ask if they can provide additional details. Sometimes they can also share sample tests or guidance on where to prep. This will enable you to be more targeted.

Best,
Cristian
