The response time after an initial application can unfortunately vary quite a bit depending on several factors, such as the volume of applications and the specific hiring process for the role. Generally, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to a month to hear back from Kearney's London Office.

Hey there,

Consulting firms usually can take anything from 2 weeks to some months to reply based off total number of applications that they have, any batching they may want to do and many other factors that may be outside the consideration of your performance in the interview

It won't hurt to reach out to your recruiter for feedback / information on the status of your application

Firms have been getting a higher volume of applications, so I would expect you to hear back in 2-3 weeks. It doesn't hurt to check in with recruiting at that point, but I would just be patient and line up your plans B, C, and D.

You won’t get an answer until all your interviewers find time to discuss your performance, which can take up to 3–4 weeks.

Feel free to follow up with your recruiting contact, but don’t expect this to speed up the process.

Initial applications often take longer than responses after the actual interview. My coachees have waited between 1-2 months, sometimes longer if there is no pipeline/demand.
