Consulting Consulting
Back to overview

I have a Bain first round coming up in Germany. Three things I would appreciate insight on from anyone who knows the process:

1. What actually separates a pass from a borderline candidate in the first round? Not the obvious stuff, more what you have seen decide close calls.
2. Recruiting mentioned the interviewers do not see the CV. What does that change for the behavioural part, and what do candidates get wrong when they assume their background is already known?
3. Do the three interviewers calibrate with each other before the decision, or submit independently?
Anything specific to the German offices would be especially welcome.

P.S. this is my first MBB cycle
