HR First interview for McKinsey

Hey there,

This is a simple resume screening interview conducted by a few offices now.

There are usually 4 types of questions asked

• Guide me through your resume
• Why consulting
• Why McKinsey
• What skills have you learned that will be useful for practice XYZ
• still prepare for the typical other recruiter questions

Additionally, they will give you a chance to ask questions to the recruiter. Think about things that interest you and from which you can benefit

• Next steps and process incl. timeline
• Preparation advice
• Change in work/life balance due to COVID
• Future outlook
• anything else you are curious about
