I’ve practised ~60 cases with both coaches and peers and feel reasonably comfortable with casing. However, my performance is still inconsistent, and I need to sharpen my business judgement and insights.
I’m finding diminishing returns from peer practice, as the feedback often lacks specificity and doesn’t challenge my thinking enough. I’m willing to invest more in coaching and am considering doing all my mock cases with coaches from now on.
I’m about to submit applications and expect the recruitment process to span the next 2 to 3 months, assuming roughly 1 month for screening and another 1 to 2 months for interviews, without significant delays.
At this stage, how many coaching sessions per week would you recommend? How would you balance these sessions with independent practice to ensure enough time to absorb and apply the feedback?
