Hey, looking at question 4.1, can anyone explain to me why the solution recommends 127,5Euro/ton as new price of the paint? In don't understand where the solution took this number from? Thanks in advance :)

Hey Lisa,
that's not the price per ton. To achieve a reduction of 33%, the price per ton for white paint needs to be lowered to €422.50 (see the 3rd bullet point in the solution to Task 4). The cheapest supplier is Supplier E with a price of €550 per ton. In this case, the price must be reduced by €127.50 through a larger sales volume.
I hope, I could help you?
Kind regards, Benjamin
