If you were rejected, they will let you know. So don't assume the worst. However, since this is almost a month back, it's definitely longer than it should normally take. 

Feel free to reach out to the recruiter and ask for an update on your application. It's totally ok to do so.

Best of luck! I unfortunately don't have the answer to this, but just FYI, some McKinsey send out interviews in stages, so some candidates may hear sooner than others. Feel free to email HR and ask for an update if you are concerned.
