Just got rejected by McKinsey after completing the Imbellus test. Was wondering if we can get feedback from recruiter, was it because I didn't pass the Imbellus test?

Hi there,
It is very unlikely that you will receive any feedback on the Imbellus, however it doesn’t hurt to try.
There may be two situations where they send you the Imbellus:
- After the CV screening (this is the most common): the rejection is then due to your performance in the test
- Before any screening (this happened for some MBA schools this year): the rejection may be due to either the test performance or your CV

I've never heard of feedback being given for Imbellus.
It probably doesn't hurt to try, but I'd keep expectations low.

Unfortunately, McK does not offer any feedback on the Imbellus as they try to keep the evaluation metrics secret.
If you passed the resume screening stage and then got a rejection after taking the test, the outcome was definitely due to the test result.
