could you please tell me what the differences are between DigitalBCG and McKinsey Digital/DnA with regard to culture/people, projects, set-up, footprint, clients?

Digital McKinsey is essentially the same as McKinsey. You work with generalist consultants, the only difference being that the projects are in the ‘digital’ space. As you can imagine digital is a broad space so it can be in many industries and functions. So the culture here is similar to that of the broader firm itself.
