Did I just extend my ban at BCG?

I interviewed with BCG in April 2020 but did not get an offer. The consultant who gave me feedback encouraged me to reapply after 6 months because my case performance was good but the competition was really high this cycle.

I kept in touch with him and applied 10 months later and received a rejection within a week. I reached out to HR who told me that they welcome reapplications 12 months after rejection, so it seems my rejection was due to the system ban on my application.

While this disconnect is extremely frustrating, I just want to know if I extended my ban for another 12 months with this new rejection. I asked the recruiter but have gotten no response. I would like to apply to another office due to my personal situations changing but I just hope I didn't screw myself over.
