Can a failed Bain Cap app hurt Bain & Co App?

A bit of niche question - so apologies this is not going to be helpful for the majority of PrepLoungers.

Question: I'm a second year MBA applicant that did not apply for consulting positions last year. I did however apply for Bain Cap. I had to take the Predictive Index test.

I'm not sure how I did, but curious if that test, or if my application could potentially hurt my chances recruiting for Bain & Co full time roles.

I know Bain Cap was founded by Bain execs, but never was an affiliate or division of Bain & Co, so my hunch is this cannot impact me at all. That said, looking to confirm.

You answered the question yourself – Bain Capital nowadays has very little to do with Bain, and the situation will certainly not impact your application.
