BCG referral process

Try not to worry too much about this. Their process is their process (and it changes based on the office/country, the recruiting channel, and just by time).

Focus on what you can control, which is…preparing to ace those upcoming interviews!

Q: Is the referral process at BCG different? Do they review your cv before they even send you a link for the application?

The referral process could be different according to the company and country. When I applied to BCG in Italy, I had to fill in the online form and mention the person referring me there. The process might also change over time.

I think this is an interesting question that may be relevant for many people. I would be happy to share my thoughts on it:

• First of all, I would advise you not to ponder on such small details that have no impact on your application. You made sure you handed in your application files with a referral, which is all that is under your control.
• As such, BCG will most probably not send you a link anymore, given there is no reason to do so.

Hi there, 

In most offices if you get a referral they immediately send you the link. 

They will then assess your application once you have submitted the application and done the screening test. Then they decide whether to take you to the next level.
