Associate BCG - Middle East (Dubai)

Question

Hi everyone,

I secured a referral from a Partner at BCG Dubai for the associate position, with target date in Q125.

Back in May, after getting positive feedback from HR, he suggested me to apply in August for starting date Q125, and to indicate his referral when doing the application.

I contacted him recently to get the final green light before applying but he now told me that applications for this role should open around September. I checked the website and indeed there are no positions open at the moment.

Has anyone recently applied or knows from HR when they expect to open the application on the website? Many thanks in advance :)

Hi there,

I know that BCG is actively running interviews at the moment in the Middle East as I have candidates in the pipeline preparing for it - likely from an earlier intake.

However, if the partner told you to wait until September, that's what I would do. :-)

Start prepping meanwhile to be ready when the invite comes.

Hey there, congrats on getting the referral. I am in a similar situation where I got in touch with a BCG principal and they advised me to apply in September as well. Quick question, do you know if the Partner/Principal referral will get the candidate directly to the interview rounds? Or will there be an online case assessment to be completed prior to the interviews?

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your situation:

I would highly advise you to stay in touch with the partner and/ or the recruiting department to get updates about the opening of the application process, as only they know for certain.

If the partner asked you to wait till September it is most likely because that is when the role will open up. There is no reason for them to lie to you.
