Hi  Sathvik

Not sure what you mean here. A case with a peer or an interview?

In an interview, no.

In a case with a peer you should be getting them to send you the case they cased you in. You need to do this every single time. And you should be both tracking and reviewing your past cases periodically (the case itself, your casing template sheets, and your performance that you recorded). You should also be casing people in cases that you struggled in.

All of this optimizes your learning + prep and saves dozens of hours of extra effort.

Yes, absolutely. The candidates who improve fastest are the ones who go back, identify exactly where they lost, and fix the specific weakness before the next session.

Write down what went wrong, why it went wrong, and what you would do differently. That reflection is where the real learning happens, not during the case itself.

50% off 1st session. MBB Consultant. LBS MBA. 3+ years coaching experience. Practical coaching with in-depth feedback

Hi Sathvik, you can absolutely do this for practice cases and it is highly encouraged.

Reviewing cases alongside the feedback that you received is critical in ensuring you know which areas to focus on in your prep. Good luck!

Sathvik,

If the case is from the coaching library, yes.

If the case was provided by the candidate or coach, then ask them directly.

Best,
Cristian
