Are there more than 2 Yale Casebooks?

The only ones I could fine only were the Yale 2013 and 2014 Life sciences one

I generally find their casebook to be the best (above Darden, Tuck, NYU and the other well-known ones). DId they stop making casebooks or are they just not available to the public?

Thank you

Hi there,

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, it's great to see that you appreciate the Yale case books. They truly are great!
  • Moreover, while I don't think it matters as long as they aren't available, based on my coachees' experience, it seems like only these two years exist (publicly).

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare your application files, for your upcoming pre-interview assessments and/or interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Hi there!

They tend not to be available publicly.

While the Yale case books are good, I would still strongly recommend that you diversify.

Most case books are written by students in the business school, so they tend to only partially reflect how cases are constructed in the actual consulting firms. Diversifying could help you get exposure to different types of problems and structuring patterns.

Best,
Cristian

Agree with other coaches that the Yale books are great but it's worth also using the other top B-school resources.

I have only seen those two Yale books myself, since they are not often shared to the public.
