Due to some internet connection issues, I submitted my application 30 min before the deadline. However, somehow my account shows that the submission date was the next day (after the deadline). I was wondering whether it might be possible that my application won't be considered. Is reaching out to HR to inquire about this a good idea? Please, let me know.

In general, your application will only be considered if you submitted your application within the deadline. I would definitely recommend reaching out to HR to clarify.

The most important thing, that you managed to submit everything within the deadline. Just to be sure, you can contact HR. But for the future, be careful and try to complete everything in advance! This way you will be less stressed.

False: Due to poor planning and lack of focus, you barely made (or missed) the deadline! Please don't blame these things on small external events...make sure to learn from this and not procrastinate next time...if you tried to submit your application a few days in advance, internet would not have been an issue!
