Yep definitely still happening - I've coached early career students at LBS who have had interviews at MBB, Kearney, OW etc.

While larger, well-known consultancies might be more cautious, there are still opportunities out there, especially with boutique or specialized firms. They typically recruit on a rolling basis throughout the year, but they can do batching of candidates. There is always a need for candidates but of course levels change as the amount of work each office has changes
