Is there any possibility of working remotely? What is the percentage of work travel?

Dear candidates,

To add some details regarding working from a remote location. As of today, you can only be based anywhere you want in Germany (you cannot live in another country and work for the Munich office). Otherwise, you would have to discuss your situation with the HR team.

Then, if you occasionally want to work from another country. Currently there are a few country where you can official work from for 30 days per year. If your country is out of that list, you would have to discuss this with your manager.

Keep in mind that consulting sometimes involves “last minute” project planning. Hence, home office from abroad should always be openly discussed with your project team /manager for visibility/organisation.

Yes, at ADV C there are remote work contracts available, which means that you can live at your desired location of an ADV C office country (e.g., Germany, UK, French, Dubai) and the travel expenses to the client or the project team in e.g. the office in Munich at Wittelsbacher Platz are paid by ADV C.

The proportion of work trips is strongly project-dependent and also often follows personal preferences of the consultants. There are, for example, projects in Europe or the Middle East where a presence at the customer's site every week or every two weeks is agreed upon together as a project team at the beginning of the project (thus approx. <50% of work trips). However, there are also a number of projects if not the majority currently, that are worked on from Munich, which then include project team meetings in the office with the project team and 1-3 workshops in Bavaria (<10% work trips for those living in Munich).

Again, I would like to emphasize the advantage that personal preferences and life situations are taken into account at ADV C. Depending on individual exchange with the coach, you can place your wish to go for an exciting project abroad with lots of travelling, for example, or, if possible, projects can be assigned close to your own place of residence.
