We are a global grassroot initiative at ADV C, passionate to empower and connect women and drive positive change in the organization around the topic of gender diversity and inclusion.
What do we do?
We are organized into different topic workstreams that drive action to improve gender diversity at ADV C along 3 dimensions: Attract. Empower. Belong.
What actions can we take to drive gender diversity at ADV C?
To ensure we address the right topics we conducted a survey across all women in consulting at ADV C in February 2022. Based on the survey results we started implementing actions together with our leadership team and consolidated a list with 30+ ideas for action across the dimensions of recruiting, employer branding, retention, flexibility and tone from the top based on industry leading research and competitor benchmarks.

Regarding your second question, we do not have the latest numbers of women's share at ADV C at hand and want to avoid communicating outdated information. However, we can tell you the overall aspiration of 50% of our global workforce shall be women by 2025. In addition, we are in close alignment with other Siemens-wide Women's Initiatives and can say that for Siemens Global Diversity & Inclusion 30% of top management will be female and that there is a Gender Equity Dashboard reporting in place.

To add on my colleagues answer, I would like to give more detail on our Women Initiative. The purpose is to foster female empowerment at all levels and career stages.
Overall, we organize initiatives according to what we see as being important. For instance, we have a “networking & fireside chat” initiative where our consultants can meet and talk with leaders from Siemens or else. The good thing, is that we are very open, and you can join/create /launch the initiative or project you want! There is a lot of space for creativity and expression, as well as for impact making :)
Before starting at SAC, we offer some pre-joining opportunities to our females candidates:
pre-buddy program: sometimes, our recruitment process is not perfect, and it might miss some female touch. To fix this, we offer our female candidates the opportunity to have a “pre buddy”. This means they can reach out to one of our female consultants to get to know here & ask her questions, etc
recruiting events: we offer once in a while some recruiting events dedicated for women. Keep an eye on our linkedin page to check for the next one
