In a Personal Fit interview, I would answer this question in a way that highlights qualities important for the role while keeping the tone light and engaging. Here’s how I might respond:

“If I were a fruit, I’d be an apple. Apples are versatile, adaptable, and always reliable. They can be enjoyed in various ways, whether it’s a straightforward snack or part of a more complex dish. Similarly, I pride myself on being adaptable to different situations, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and always striving to add value in whatever way is needed.”

This response ties the qualities of the fruit to key strengths in a professional context, like adaptability, reliability, and versatility.

I would probably be a strawberry because most people get on well with me, both professionally and privately, and in my eyes the strawberry is the fruit that everyone actually likes.
