Hey

If I were answering this question in a Personal Fit interview, I’d pick childhood experiences that show qualities I still value today, like resilience, curiosity, or teamwork.

For example, when I was around 10, I participated in a school science fair. I was fascinated by how things worked, so I built a simple volcano model. It didn’t go perfectly—the eruption was messy and unexpected—but I learned to adapt on the spot and keep a positive attitude. That experience taught me the importance of preparation and flexibility, which still helps me handle surprises in fast-paced work environments.

Another example is from when I was part of a youth football team. We didn’t always win, but I remember how we supported each other and worked together toward common goals. That sense of teamwork and persistence really stuck with me and influences how I collaborate with colleagues and push through challenges today.

In both stories, I’d highlight how these early moments shaped my approach to challenges and working with others—qualities that are essential in any professional setup.

Hey!

A childhood experience that continues to inspire me is when I participated in a school science fair and built a simple model that actually worked. The excitement of creating something from scratch and seeing it function sparked my curiosity and taught me the value of persistence and creativity. It showed me early on that challenges can be overcome with dedication and that learning is a continuous journey. This memory motivates me to approach problems with a positive mindset and a willingness to experiment until I find the right solution.

In a Personal Fit interview, I would share this story to highlight qualities like curiosity, resilience, and a passion for learning. I would explain how this early experience shaped my approach to challenges and reinforced the importance of staying motivated even when things get difficult.

By connecting a personal story to these professional traits, I would demonstrate self-awareness and a growth mindset, which are key attributes interviewers look for in candidates.
