Helping You Master Finance Interviews with Clarity, Confidence & Real-World Insight

That’s a fun question, but I’d still treat it as a chance to show a bit of personality and how I think.

One book I’d love to read again for the first time is Shoe Dog by Phil Knight. The reason is not just the story itself, but how unexpectedly real it felt. You go in thinking it’s a classic success story, but it’s actually full of uncertainty, bad decisions, and near-failure moments.

What stuck with me is how long things remained unclear, even for the founder. That changed how I think about building something meaningful. It’s less about having a perfect plan and more about staying persistent while figuring things out along the way.

If I could read it again for the first time, it would be to relive that shift in perspective. It made me more comfortable with ambiguity and more focused on execution rather than overplanning.

That mindset is something I’ve consciously applied in my own work, especially when dealing with open-ended problems where there isn’t a clear right answer.
