Hi, I'm curious about the implementation, when a proposal is presented, do the consultants help the external company/Siemens to apply it throughout? Or do they just give advice on adoption? How do you feel/deal with it if the implementations fail?

The question goes in the direction of an earlier one with regard to the role of a strategy consultant in times of digital transformation with an increased emphasis on technology. The answer to this was:
Our teams are set up with a broad range of professional expertise and experience, depending on the client's needs. What is clear, however, is that almost every project requires expertise in defining e.g., a vision, a target picture, customer types, a strategic market analysis, before moving on to the details of operational processes, planning a mock-up, implementation in a specific region, or the like. So far, I've found it incredibly enriching that we have colleagues with a tremendously structured strategic approach and thinking that understand the clients challenges and pain points and also some with analytical or even programming skills, so that after a few weeks or even month great results come out of it!
To add on this, within ADV C we have the possibilty to accompany our clients from the strategy through a mock-up, pilot (e.g. programming of an app, implementation of a strategy for a dealer network). In addition, the entire ADV network with its development and delivery departments offers the resources to support the (same) client then in the global, scalable implementation of the strategy/successful pilot conducted at ADV C. One broad example is the factory optimization, which starts in ADV C with the greenfield/brownfield strategy and is then rolled out globally by ADV Dev. and ADV Del.
