After getting to know each other, we worked out an optimal sourcing strategy and networked together in the city center of Essen. 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 Biodiversity is a global challenge of our time - that’s why a team of passionate volunteers decided to set out on a rainy and cold Saturday to make a change happen. 15 colleagues from various thyssenkrupp companies planted 60 native plants to create hedgerows around our office. Hedgerows aren’t just green spaces – they are considered biodiversity “hotspots”, supporting hundreds of bird, mammal and insect species such as bees. Due to its immense renewable energy resources and various industry decarbonization projects RP APA is particularly relevant for thyssenkrupp in the green transformation era. What exactly did Marc achieve during his tenure? "We gained deep insights into industry activities and trends by analyzing transformation drivers, and the dynamics of existing and new market players. Additionally, we developed an understanding of customer pain points and needs. At #TKMC, we approach our consultants holistically, embracing their passions. We are interested in our colleagues beyond their professional expertise and strive to harmonize both aspects. Thus Marie's exceptional commitment to #sustainability led her to the implementation of numerous projects in that field. Due to her outstanding achievements in project work, she transitioned successfully in thyssenkrupp’s new segment, Decarbon Technologies, assuming the role of Head of ESG. In her current position, her mission is: To ensure credibility and trustworthiness in an segment focused on "decarbonizing the hard-to-abate industries.”   Her day-to-day now revolves around 1️⃣ establishing ESG as a core function in the segment. 2️⃣ addressing ESG challenges together with the business units and colleagues at DT headquarter. 3️⃣ providing substantiated facts and proof cases, but also walk the talk ourselves.
