We are excited to share that Ben T. Smith, IV is the Chair of Kearney’s Digital and Analytics Practice. An innovative leader in digital transformation, analytics, and high-tech, Ben brings his Kearney Original spirit into every client engagement. A storied member of the Kearney family, Ben’s journey began in 1994, marking a tenure filled with milestones through 2003 and a return in 2016. Before returning to Kearney, Ben was a successful entrepreneur founding multiple companies, a venture capitalist who has been part of over 40 companies and 25 funds, and was an advisor post-9/11 where he helped stand up the TSA. His contributions at Kearney are immeasurable, yet some highlights stand out: Ben was celebrated as one of the youngest partners in history, he steered the Communications, Media, and Technology Practice in the Americas to new heights, and he was the driving force behind the inception of the Kearney Venture Capital Fund in partnership with Cendana Capital. His strategic foresight led to the pivotal acquisition of Silicon Foundry, and his current role on our Board of Directors has been instrumental in reshaping Kearney’s capital structure to fuel our growth. Ben’s leadership is marked by his empathy and support, inspiring those around him to reach new potential.
