As a Business Graduate you will not immediately be attracted to work in a sector outside of the traditional sectors like Banks, Consumer Goods, Telecom etc. However, the Agriculture sector is huge and incredibly important to any economy and thus just as exciting.

For this project simulation we have a client in Kenya who is a local governor that wants to get foreign investors to invest in the Kenyan Animal Feed Industry. So it's something completely different from what you're used to, but very good practice nonetheless. The governor has asked us to convince European feed producers and investors to enter the Kenyan market to tackle their challenges. Kenya is facing significant under-supply in the market with very high cost of feed products.

In the first part we looked at the challenges in the market. Now we need to see if there is sufficient opportunity. We will be looking into the Livestock and Animal feed market in Kenya and other African nations. We will be developing potential market entry options to discuss with investors.

During this part you will learn how to size a market and assess whether an opportunity exists by comparing supply & demand. You will learn how to develop market entry options and how to elaborate on those. You will learn how companies typically invest in a foreign country and what kind of structure we use. Moreover, in part 1 and 2 you will further strengthen your PowerPoint skills.
