Rabobank is an international bank based in the Netherlands which has the strong ambition to become number one in the country. They are looking to attain market leadership and hired our firm to tell them how to do it. Our job is to come up with a first version of the growth strategy for Rabobank Netherlands to achieve this goal. This means that they need to grow their customer base by a few millions by 2020.
As part of our work we will be conducting a customer and a product analysis. In this part we will work on our product analysis. The data used in this project simulation is 80% real and 20% developed in-house by us.
During the project simulation we will create our approach for the product analysis to try and figure out what products we need to achieve the growth. Our customer analysis already provided us with insights on the customer so now we need to create a products that fit their needs.
This means that we will be analyzing product sales, determining the available capacity to expand those sales and we will be conducting market research into the property sector to support our findings. We finalize by converting the findings and the initial growth strategy into a PowerPoint.
During this part you will learn how to connect insights from the customer analysis to structure your product analysis whilst making use of the top-bottom approach. You will learn how to conduct market research and how to read raw statistics and data. You will also learn how to use and read market reports. And finally, you will continue to strengthen your PowerPoint/Presentation skills.
