I focus on 3 core aspects of interview trainings:

1. What kind of candidates are MBB looking for? I provide insight into the interviewer's mindset as someone who has successfully been on both the giving and receiving end of interviews at McKinsey. I also provide insight into the recruitment decisions: the real evaluation criteria, how decisions are made, and what makes or breaks an applicant's case.

2. How do I set myself apart in case structuring? Most candidates will have read Case in Point and practiced with peers. What actually sets people apart in interviews is not the number of frameworks they've practiced, but how they think, communicate, and structure. I will teach you the core components of cases at a high-level, to move beyond framework memorization and get to a clear, crisp partner-level understanding of how to tackle cases.

3. Lastly, what are firms looking for in behavioral interviews? I will provide you examples of successful and unsuccessful behavioral stories that applicants used in interviews, breaking them down to show you what sets them apart. Firms are all about finding best-fit applicants, and I will provide you with internal insight on what best-fit means for MBB interviewers.

About me:

Before joining McKinsey, I had no personal connections to consultants and no insider knowledge. I relied on my own research and the help of coaches to prepare for interviews - and having successfully aced multiple MBB case interview rounds, I accepted an offer with McKinsey in 2018. I have extensive experience from the applicant side and the internal interviewing side and have served as a coach for 45+ McKinsey applicants. Using real interview cases, I can provide thorough coaching for any stage of the application process, and am happy to share everything that has enabled me to be successful in my own case journey and has helped dozens of others to be successful in theirs.
