Dear experts,

I would like to get your opinions on Partners in Performance (PIP)? What do you say about the firm reputation, people, projects as well as the pay?

As far as I understand, the firm is known for its flexibility compared to other consulting firms. When you are not on the client site or when you are on the bench, you can work from home and therefore, work-life balance is better.

Thank you.

Collected McKinsey & BCG offers/ Ex-McKinsey consultant/Harvard/WBS/MSU

Hi A,

History
It is Australian consulting firm, founded my ex-McKinsey partners. It focuses on implementation projects. In Australia 20 years ago they starrted as a boutique consultancy for operations. They expanded their operations practice to other countries: US, Canada, CIS, Africa and China. At the same time in Austalia they expanded their operations practice to strategy and cover not only metals and mining, but also other industries.

Pay

  • It is competitive to McKinsey.

Working culture

  • You can work from home
  • You are flexible in terms of days off: you can work 20 days and then have one vocational week
  • PiP doesn't have any supporting divisions for making ppts, consultants do them on their own

Cutting edge

  • PiP is not interested in paper results, they do heavy implementation and are aimed at showing the result when they come on-site

Overall, I would recommend applying, if you love romantics of going to distant places and are interested in tangible results.

All the best,
Egor
