Hi, this question is for BCG specifically. I recently heard from a colleague of mine who got into McK that she went straight to cases in her interview process since she was an internal referral. Does anyone know if this is the case with BCG as well? Will they waive the online test and send you straight to case interviews if you are referred by a partner? Thanks!

Hello!

Honestly it is difficult to judge without knowing the whole case.

For instance, in my case, I did not have the test as a pre-screening since I was coming from a McK recruiting event in Spain that had hard recruiting before. Hence, there are cases in which indeed it´s waived.

TBH, and I could be wrong here, partner referral does not seem to me as something that would waive the test.

Hope it helps!

Cheers,

Clara

Hi there,

It's honestly on a case by case basis.

In principle, the online test is to add a screening step in case they are not 100% sure about you (which is hard to reach).

Hi,

It depends on how the partner makes a referral. If done officially through the system - most probably you will skip the test. IF he just passes your resume to HR - it's totally unpredictable if the test will be waived.

Hi there,
This can differ from case to case. It can be so if you have an appropriate referral. However, if they are not sure about you, most likely you will have an interview.

All the best,

GB
